"I'm a superdelegate, having been president before, and I think that a lot of us superdelegates will make a decision ... quite rapidly, after the final primary on June 3," Carter told Sky News. "I think at that point it will be time for her to give it up."So why does superdelegate Carter continue to hedge his bet by not making a commitment now?
Ironically, it was President Carter's landslide loss to Ronald Reagan that resulted in the present Democrat superdelegate system. Gee, is it any wonder the process is flawed when you make superdelegates out of the people you wouldn't want to be your nominee?
